Creative Writing Workshops
WeSERVE has partnered with En Prose Publications to offer the following training and informational classes during the months of January and February: Microsoft Word 101: This session helps participants perform basic Microsoft Word functions. Book Writing for Aspiring Authors: This session presents tips to help those desiring to write a book, get started with their writing. It’s also designed to help those experiencing writer’s block to get unstuck. Self Publishing for Authors: This session presents tips on how and where authors can go to get started self publishing their manuscripts. WeSERVE has partnered with Alpha Business Development Advisors to offer the following training and informational classes during the months of January and February: Writing a Business Plan: This session helps business owners draft several segments of their business plan to include, location, product, targeted customers and competitive advantage. Business Development: This session presents tips aspiring business owners may consider when starting their business. Entrepreneurship 101: Not every small business owner is an entrepreneur. This session presents the difference between business ownership and entrepreneurship and helps participants self determine if their venture is entrepreneurial.
